The Award seeks to recognize the main names and initiatives that work in favor of Racial Equality in Brazil.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amaerj.org.br\/premio\/o-premio\/edicoes-anteriores\/\"><b>AMAERJ Patr\u00edcia Accioli Prize for Human Rights<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/a><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nov\/2018<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Association of Magistrates of Rio de Janeiro State awarded Fogo Cruzado third place in the humanistic practices category for its work on tracking and mapping armed violence in Rio and promoting accountability. The prize is named after the famous judge Patr\u00edcia Accioli who was murdered by a paramilitary militia for her fearless work of holding criminal gangs accountable.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fhi360.org\/resource\/atlas-innovation-economic-stability\"><b>Atlas of Innovation for Economic Stability<\/b><\/a><br \/>\n<em>May\/2018<\/em><br \/>\nAssociated with Fogo Cruzado. Fogo Cruzado was highlighted as one of the most innovative initiatives in the world in the publication \u201cAtlas of Innovation for Economic Stability\u201d, by FHI 360 (The Science of Improving Lives), funded by the Rockefeller Foundation, in the USA. In all, 63 initiatives were listed that use technology and data as tools that promote stability for people, communities and countries.
